Our focus is case management quality assurance

  • Improving malaria diagnosis using microscopy and rapid diagnostic tests (RDT).
  • Building competency in quality clinical case management.
  • Strengthening data collection and use for decision-making.

We are funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) under the US President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), with the goal of scaling up high-quality diagnosis and treatment services for malaria and other febrile (fever causing)  illnesses.

MalariaCare is led by PATH and is supported by three other organizations: Medical Care Development International (MCDI), Population Services International (PSI), and Save the Children US.
